 Who We Are:

Kaitlyn Roach
Owner, CPR Course Coordinator

Kaitlyn is a Nationally Registered EMT and has over 10 years of experience in various public safety roles and holds a Bachelors Degree in Criminal Justice from University of Northwestern – St. Paul where she graduated Cum Laude. Kaitlyns prior experience includes working as an EMT for Lakes Region EMS, New River Medical Center EMS, and North Memorial in Brainerd. She has worked as a 911 dispatcher for both Hennepin County and Crow Wing County where she was a Certified Training Officer, and has served as an EMT on her local volunteer fire department where she also assisted in public relations and community outreach events. Kaitlyn currently works for Life Link III Air Medical Transport as the Partner Engagement Manager for their Brainerd, Alexandria, and Detroit Lakes bases. Kaitlyn has a passion for expanding the community’s knowledge about prehospital EMS and the role they play in caring for patients.

Rex Roach
Educator, EMS Program Coordinator

Rex is a nationally registered Paramedic and has been involved in EMS since 2005. Rex obtained his AAS degree in Paramedic Technology from Bismarck State College in North Dakota. He has served in various roles in public safety to include 911 dispatch, Emergency Medical Dispatch, Captain on a volunteer fire department, and 14+ years full-time on an ALS ambulance service. Rex has been heavily involved in EMS Education since 2015 and has taught a variety of courses to include EMR, EMT, Paramedic, ACLS, PALS, and other various continuing education courses.
