Yes! You can still attend this course. Upon successful completion of this course and the NREMT exams, you will gain NREMT certification as well as MN EMT certification. You can then apply for reciprocity in your state. Reciprocity requirements can vary from state to state, so you will want to check with your state EMS office regarding the reciprocity requirements.

I am flying in from a different state to take this course. What airports are close by and what travel options are there from the airport?

Minneapolis-St Paul International Airport (MSP) is the largest airport in the state, and is located approximately 2 hours south from Camp Ripley. Brainerd Lakes Regional Airport is located approximately 30 minutes from Camp Ripley and has regular flights to/from MSP. There is a travel service that provides transportation to/from MSP to Camp Ripley, Little Falls, & Brainerd. Each airport also has car rental services. There are also car rental apps (such as Turo) you can look into.

Cancellations made within 6 weeks of the start of skills week are non-refundable. NorthPoint Emergency Training reserves the right to cancel or reschedule the course if minimum registration is not met, while making a refund or transfer option available to registered students. Think of this as ordering a meal at a restaurant. Once you place your order, receive your food, and begin eating - you can’t return it for a refund if you leave the restaurant before finishing your meal. Skills week requires much pre-planning, reserving equipment and adequate space, scheduling instructors, pre-ordering meals, ordering uniforms, and obtaining other supplies. We understand extenuating circumstances occur. If this is the case, please contact us so we can work with you to find a solution. Once you withdraw from the course, you will need to reregister for future courses and are subject to the full course fee for future courses.
